Learn how to make chocolate bowls the easy way using balloons! Use them to hold ice cream and other desserts, plus you can take a bite out of the bowl. So much fun for at parties and birthdays!
Making chocolate balloon bowls is a fun and creative way to serve desserts or other treats. Here are the steps to make them:
Materials:
Instructions:
Blow up balloons to the desired size. Keep in mind that the size of the balloons will determine the size of the chocolate bowls.
Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Let the melted chocolate cool for a minute or two.
Line a flat surface with parchment paper.
Dip the bottom half of a balloon into the melted chocolate. Swirl the balloon around to create an even layer of chocolate. Be sure to leave the top half of the balloon free of chocolate.
Place the balloon on the parchment paper, chocolate side down. Repeat the process with the remaining balloons.
Place the balloons in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened.
Once the chocolate has hardened, remove the balloons from the refrigerator.
Pop the balloons with a pin or sharp knife, and carefully peel them away from the chocolate bowls.
Fill the chocolate bowls with your desired treats and serve.
Note: It's important to keep the chocolate balloons in a cool place before serving, as they can start to melt if left at room temperature for too long.
