One of the most important purchases you'll make as new parents is a car seat. With so many on the market it can be quite daunting. Some children go through three car seats in their early years, an infant capsule, convertible car seat and a booster seat. But what if there was one car seat that did it all.
In this Blog Post I'll run through the similarities of the Nuna Rava and the Nuna Exec. The Pro's and Con's of both seats.
You can make the informed decision on which seat is best for you and your family.
What do the Nuna Rava and the Nuna Exec have in common?
Both seats are suitable from birth and have included infant inserts which can be used for babies as small as 5lbs.
Other similar features:
Another great feature for both seats is, they both come with the built in integrated base. Making installation easy and quick. The preferred installation method for both the Rava and the Exec is with the vehicle own seat belt rather than the LATCH system. This takes out any confusion as to when to switch later on.
Now it's time to see what makes each seat unique. The Rava is our most popular seat in the Nuna range. It's not hard to see why. Read through some of our customer reviews to see for yourself. Link here
The Nuna Exec can be used longer than the Nuna Rava which explains the high price. I sometimes refer to it as the First Class of travel and the Rava is business class. Both you would agree are amazing.
The Rava is going to see you through from newborn 5lbs to 29kg and 49 inches which is around 120cm. The reason I love the Rava is the long use of the harness as your little one grows. You'll be in no doubt that they're seated correctly as they get older. To give you an idea of age to weight and height, an average 8 year old would weigh less than 30kg and be around 120cm.
Now the Exec can also see you through from newborn 5lbs and can forward face with the harness until 29kg and 49 inches but then you can switch to booster seat mode, using the belt positioning until they are 120lbs (54kgs) 57 inches which is around 145cm. Between 10 and 11 years old.
Both the Rava and the Exec come in a range of different colours. We have chosen to sell the two popular colours. Caviar and Granite.
Smart temperature regulation
New for 2023, the Nuna RAVA is now one of the only convertible car seats on the market that uses a naturally fire-resistant bamboo/polyester fabric instead of fabrics treated with flame-retardant chemicals. Bamboo also helps regulate your child's body temperature, keeping her cooler in warm weather and warmer in cool weather—all while being super-soft, antibacterial, and hypoallergenic.
Our two most popular colours are the Granite and the Caviar.
Still undecided, why not have a read through some more customer reviews. Link here.
Which ever seat you decide is best for you and your family, you can trust in Nuna to carry your family through the journey safely and smartly.
